  Incompetent clowns. I'm going to go on a bit of a rant here, so if you don't want to be bothered reading it, just know they're total morons here. I went yesterday to deposit checks to my account and to my girlfriends account (Using bank cards not deposit slips for both). After accepting my deposits (without any sort of ID) I was informed that I could not use my girlfriend's debt card and pin to make a deposit to her account without her account number because of potential fraud. First of all, this is not a wells fargo policy because I've done this many many times before at many other locations. Also, if I had her debt card, pin number, and checks written to her how hard would it be for me to get her account number as well???? They never ID'ed me so they have no idea if the money I had already deposited was into my account or not. So, I went outside to the atm machine and deposited her check into it (which has already cleared) So essentially what these assclowns are saying is that they're afraid of fraud from me (a clean cut 35 yr old white male) going into their branch and depositing a check, but me going to any one of their many thousands of atms nationwide is completely fine. If I was going to commit fraud wouldn't I prefer using an atm rather than going to an actual teller?????? This "policy" of theirs in unique to this awful location and makes absolutely no sense. I won't be going to visit those morons ever again, and I suggest you do your banking elsewhere as well.
